Activists blow whistles for better Belgian climate policy

by editor
About 250 activists blew whistles in Ghent on Friday to call attention to the need for a better Belgium climate policy.
The young people assembled at the Sint-Pieter Station and then took the train to join the other participants of the global climate strike in Brussels.

The climate marches have been important over the last few months, but there is very little change in policy so far, according to the protestors in Ghent.

In response, at 11:55 AM, the activists blew whistles, trumpets and other wind instruments to launch the signal that “time is short and we must work towards an ambitious climate policy,” they said.
