Belgian airspace will close early Tuesday morning

by editor
No flights will be possible in Belgian airspace over the night of Monday to Tuesday, between 1:30 AM and 3:30 AM.
The halt is due to an insufficient number of air traffic controllers, according to Skeyes, the organisation in charge of air traffic control in Belgium.

Belgian airspace has already been closed several times in recent weeks due to striking workers. The possible consequences are more likely to impact cargo flights than passenger flights.

For several weeks Skeyes has faced social conflict from workers, notably concerning organisation and workload. According to a spokesman for the company, discussions are still ongoing.
