Brussels Airlines delays a dozen flights due to tensions at Skeyes

by editor
Brussels Airlines has delayed a dozen flights that were due to land in Brussels on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning to avoid the strike action of Skeyes workers, said the spokesperson for the company Wencke Lemmes.

Brussels Airlines will be affected by the actions between 22h and midnight Tuesday night. Ten flights are expected during this two hour period, while none are likely to land.

On Wednesday morning, all airspace will be closed from 4:00 to 6:00. Two African flights of the company were therefore delayed to land after 6:00.

TUI fly, Ryanair, British Airways, Iberia and Aeroflot have taken the same type of measurement.
