The Brussels-North police zone (Schaerbeek, Saint-Josse-ten-Noode and Evere) arrested two people and seized a large sum of money and drugs in a café in Saint-Josse on Tuesday.
The cafe on the Chaussée de Haecht in Saint-Josse was the base of a narcotics dealer, according to reports in Brussels media.

Two clients who had dealings with a suspect were arrested with narcotics when they left the café. The police also arrested the suspect and found money and six cocaine packets.

A search of his home also found 100 grams of cocaine and a cutting product for 243 grams.

In the cafe, another individual was arrested with  577 euros and the key to a safe located in the basement on him. 20,000 euros were found in the safe.

The two people arrested, a 24-year-old man named PE and a 42-year-old man named LN, were made available to the Brussels public prosecutor’s office.
