ISIS planned new terror attacks in Europe

by editor April 15, 2019
April 15, 2019
The Islamic State (ISIS) terror group planned fresh attacks in Europe, according to documents found in the group’s last stronghold, in Baghuz, Syria, Het Laatste Nieuws reported on Monday, quoting the Sunday Times of London.
The plans were found on a hard drive found in Baghuz, located close to the Iraqi border. Inspired by the Paris attacks that killed no fewer than 130 persons four years ago, ISIS leaders aimed to perpetrate fresh terror attacks in Europe.

The attacks were to be carried out on a high-speed train in Germany and an oil pipeline in Switzerland, the media reported.

The documents, signed by ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and five other personalities, were found in December.
