High-speed train operator Thalys will begin sales for its new Brussels-Bordeaux summer route tomorrow, starting at 9AM.
From June 29th until August 31st, travellers will be able to ride the new Thalys Soleil every Saturday which will connect the Belgian capital directly to Bordeaux in 4 hours, according to a company press release.

“This new connection will be a real factor of bringing together two capital cities rich in culinary, historical and cultural treasures, which will delight our travellers “, said Bruno Dierickx, commercial director of Thalys.

Bordeaux is the latest destination of the Thalys Soleil offer, which also links Brussels to Valence, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, every Saturday between the end of June and the end of August.

“The 40,000 Belgians who travel annually to Bordeaux can testify, the destination has everything to please: an exceptional historical heritage, the vineyard at hand, an eclectic cultural offer and art of living characteristic of the South West,” said Stephan Delaux, president of the tourist office of Bordeaux.
