The most intense days will be from 12 to 16 March, but a longer “package” beginning today (9 March) was also proposed to fans, with entertainment on the slopes and in the festival’s “village” and of course the possibility to ski! A ski pass is included in the price of each ticket.
The event is sold out, organizers said.
The organization of this first winter version was not without stress, especially with such different weather conditions than in the summer. For instance, part of a festival tent was torn off. “But it was only decoration and has already been repaired,” spokesperson Debby Wilmsen reassured. “At the moment, we have beautiful, sunny weather. Next week we expect snow, but it is always difficult to predict mountain weather.”
The festival has a “control centre”, including a meteorologist.
Paul Kalkbrenner, Armin van Buuren, Netsky, Martin Garrix, Lost Frequencies and Martin Solveig, among others, are programmed at the festival, which will have 8 stages.
