Brussels – This summer, Autoworld Brussels invites visitors to embark on an extraordinary exploration of Japanese automotive heritage with its upcoming exhibition, Big in Japan. Running from July 3rd to August 31st, this immersive showcase celebrates the craftsmanship, innovation, and enduring legacy of Japan’s most iconic cars and motorcycles.

An immersive experience through Japanese automotive history

Attendees can anticipate a multi-sensory journey that captures the essence of Japan, featuring vibrant cityscapes, renowned racetracks, and serene natural environments. The exhibition will display over 55 vehicles, each representing the rich history and technological advancements of Japan’s automotive and motorcycle sectors.

Among the standout exhibits are historic classics such as the Mazda Cosmo, Toyota 2000 GT and Spider, along with the ever-popular Toyota Supra. Enthusiasts of high-performance vehicles will appreciate the rare supercars on display, including the Honda NSX and Toyota GT One. Motorsport fans will also have the chance to admire legendary racing cars like the Le Mans-winning Mazda 787B and Carlos Sainz’s Toyota Corolla WRC.

A celebration of Japanese culture and creativity

The exhibition also honors the evolution of Japanese superbikes, showcasing transformative models from the revolutionary Honda CB750 to the modern Suzuki Hayabusa and Yamaha R1. This highlights the remarkable journey of engineering excellence and speed spanning half a century.

The entire Autoworld venue will undergo a stunning transformation for this event, featuring Japanese aesthetics that draw inspiration from Tokyo’s neon ambiance to the tranquil beauty of Mount Fuji. The experience will include a special creative zone for children, offering manga drawing sessions, origami workshops, and retro arcade games. Additionally, visitors can indulge in Japanese-themed delicacies at the on-site Brasserie Bagnole.

As a highlight of the festivities, a Cars & Coffee – Big in Japan gathering is scheduled for Saturday, July 12, where classic and custom Japanese vehicles will converge on the museum’s esplanade. This event promises a lively atmosphere rich in Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) culture.
