People in London protest to show solidarity with the people of Afghanistan

People gather in central London to protest the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban and to show solidarity with Afghans. The Taliban’s senior leadership is gathering in the Afghan capital to begin mapping out an “inclusive government”, as desperation deepened for tens of thousands still scrambling to leave the country via a chaotic evacuation dubbed one of the most difficult airlifts in history.
