Kite festival raises awareness for endangered species

Kites of various shapes, colours, and sizes fill the skies, celebrating more than a decade of the festival.

Known as “Sky Wonders – Flying with the Birds,” the event follows the Via Pontica migratory bird route along the coast. The festival raises awareness about endangered bird species while showcasing impressive kite demonstrations, including aquatic-themed designs and stunt sport kites.

The festival continues through September 2024 across multiple coastal locations.
