The event was officially inaugurated by Dr. Tamas Sulyok, Hungary’s Judo Federation President, alongside Mr. Marius Vizer, President of the International Judo Federation (IJF), and Dr. Lazlo Toth, President of the Hungarian Judo Association. The ceremony also welcomed President Duma Gideon Boko of Botswana, marking a significant international presence.
Abe Uta shines in gold medal match
ABE Uta showcased her exceptional skills as she advanced to the final match, demonstrating precision and control from the very first exchange. Her focused and unyielding style of judo proved effective, allowing her to navigate the preliminary rounds with remarkable ease and composure under pressure.
In the gold medal contest, she faced the formidable Distria KRASNIQI from Kosovo, who had proven herself a fierce competitor throughout the day. Krasniqi entered the final with a strong track record, exhibiting an intense determination that made her a challenging opponent.
