On Thursday, a wave of sorrow enveloped the nation as funeral services took place for the victims of the devastating blaze that struck on March 16. The fire, which has been described as one of the deadliest in recent history, resulted in the loss of 59 lives, leaving families and friends in deep mourning.
In Kocani, where the majority of the victims were laid to rest, hundreds of mourners clad in black paid tribute to their loved ones by carrying white flowers and photographs. The atmosphere was somber, as local residents came together to support one another during this heart-wrenching time.
