In the -70kg category, Japan’s Shiho Tanaka clinched the gold medal, while fellow countryman Sanshiro Murao triumphed in an all-Japanese final for the -90kg title.
Tanaka’s remarkable journey to gold
Lara Cvjetko, a seasoned competitor from Croatia, was determined to convert her past silver medal experiences into gold.
