Brussels Airlines has sold one of its oldest Airbus A330s. The Airbus joined Brussels Airlines in October 2011 and now it has been sold to Twente Airport, in the Netherlands.
The plane was dismantled and delivered by the Dutch company Aircraft End-of-Life Solutions (AELS).
AELS wrote on their facebook page: “AELS will disassemble and dismantle the aircraft according to the highest industry standards.
The A330, MSN 229, with registration OO-SFY, has been operated by Brussels Airlines since 2011. The aircraft initially flew for Swiss.
AELS is looking forward receiving this aircraft at our facility after 21 year of reliable and safe service.”
The Airbus has already been flown to Twente Airport, Netherlands.
