TAP Air Portugal will provide two daily connections between Brussels Airport and Porto as of July 1st of this, the Portuguese airline announced. With Brussels Airlines and Ryanair already linking the Belgian capital to Porto, travelers will soon have five to six daily flights between the two destinations.
TAP provides connecting flights to Lisbon. Until now, the Porto route was carried out in partnership (code-sharing) with Brussels Airlines, which meant the Portuguese company sold seats on board Belgian aircraft.
If, in July, TAP will ensure its own flights to the port city, this will not change the current situation. The code-sharing will continue, reported Brussels Airlines, adding that Porto is a destination that works very well.
The two daily flights are therefore maintained and the Belgian company will also offer seats aboard Portuguese aircraft between Porto and Brussels. Ryanair is also active on this air route, most of the time with one connection a day (sometimes two).
