On Wednesday February 13th, the day of the industrial actions, the start-up Lime saw an increase of more than 100% use of its electric scooters in Brussels, compared to Wednesday of last week.

Launched in Brussels on November 16, 2018, the Californian company gets a first positive assessment after its arrival. Lime claims to have been used by 55,000 people in Brussels, for a total of 260,000 trips. On average, the users travel 1.3 kilometers for a duration of seven minutes.

Public transport was severely disrupted on Wednesday due to the national strike organized by the CSC-FGTB-CGSLB trade union front.
