STIB will improve the frequency of its bus and tram services

The STIB has announced on its website that new timetables will come into effect on Monday, March 11, for several tram and bus lines. The frequencies of many lines will be improved at the beginning and end of the day, as well as on weekends.

 

 

The frequencies are improved as follows

Tram 3

On weekdays, additional departures at the end of the evening rush hour.

Saturdays, additional departures in the early evening.

On Sunday, additional departures in the morning.

Tram 4

The last departure from Gare du Nord to Stalle (P) is at 00h20 (instead of 00h05).

On weekdays, additional departures at the beginning and end of the evening rush hour.

Saturdays, additional departures in the early evening.

On Sunday, additional departures in the late morning.

Tram 39-44

On Saturdays, a tram every 15 minutes between 9h and 12h (instead of every 20 minutes).

Tram 55

On weekdays, a tram every 5 minutes between 10h and 15h (instead of every 6 minutes).

Tram 81

On weekdays, additional departures at the end of the evening rush hour.

Tram 82

On Saturdays, a tram every 15 minutes between 6h and 9h (instead of every 20 minutes), every 12 minutes between 9h and 11h (instead of every 15 minutes) and every 10 minutes between 11h and 15h (instead of every 12 minutes).

On Sunday, additional departures in the morning.

Bus 20

Saturdays, additional departures in the early evening.

Bus 29

On weekdays, additional departures at the beginning of the evening rush hour between Madou and Hof ten Berg.

Saturdays, additional departures in the early evening.

Bus 34

On weekdays, additional departures at the end of the evening rush hour.

On weekdays and Saturdays, a bus every 15 minutes between 20h and 23h (instead of every 20 minutes).

On Saturdays, a bus every 10 minutes between 8h and 12h (instead of every 12 minutes) and every 8 minutes between 12h and 18h ​​(instead of every 10 minutes).
