Euro at 20: Immature | VoxEurop.eu: European news, cartoons and press reviews

On 1 January 2019 it has been 20 years since the euro has been introduced as a common currency for the EU. 19 member states have adopted it since then, but its legacy is twofolded: the euro is now the second most used currency in the world, while it has been at the centre of a major crisis which threatened the European project, and EU and national authorities still have found no definitive solution to prevent future crisis.
