Fans eager for Lady Gaga’s performance
The concert, held on Saturday, marks a key moment in Lady Gaga’s promotional tour for her latest album, Mayhem, featuring hit songs such as “Abracadabra” and “Die With a Smile.” Enthusiastic fans, affectionately known as Gaga’s “Little Monsters,” began lining up early in the morning, eager to secure their spots on the beach.
A comprehensive security operation has been implemented to ensure the safety of attendees. This includes the deployment of 5,000 police officers, rigorous screening through metal detectors, and the use of drones and facial recognition technology to monitor the crowd effectively.
Lady Gaga’s concert is not the first of its kind on Copacabana beach; Madonna previously performed a free show there in May 2024, also financed by the city.
