Drunk Belgian driver found asleep in truck in the middle of a road in France

by editor
A Belgian driver was found sleeping in his truck in the middle of a road in Normandy, France, the Infonormandie site reported on Friday.
When gendarmes arrived on the scene at about 11.45 p.m. on Thursday, they found the heavy-duty truck parked in the middle of the road with its door open and the engine running. The driver, a Belgian, was dead drunk and sleeping in his cabin.

The man insulted the law enforcers and refused to take a breathalyser test. He was then taken into custody and placed in a sobering-up cell.

Eight hours later, he still had a very high blood alcohol level: 1.38 grammes per litre.
