People have been laying flowers on Istanbul’s Istiklal Street in memory of the victims of Sunday’s deadly explosion. At least eight people have died and 79 were injured when a blast tore through the busy shopping district. No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack but Turkey’s interior ministry has blamed the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK). Istanbul police say more than 40 people have been arrested.
