The court passed a well-reasoned judgement, on Friday, concerning E.F. a man aged 37, accused of acts of violence committed on 30th November in Brussels.
The court established that he had actually thrown a paving stone at the policemen, and injured one of them whilst he was being questioned.
During the hearing, the accused had acknowledged having thrown a projectile, but had denied having the intention to injure in doing so.
The court sentenced him to a full 15-month suspended prison sentence but also fined him €800 (with payment of half of the value being suspended during the period of the sentence).
On Friday morning, the court will further pass two other judgements concerning “yellow vests” suspected of having committed acts of violence during two demonstrations in Brussels, during November and December last year.
